Jojo Sues Record Company

Two months after sounding off her disappointment toward her label, JoJo files a lawsuit against the recording company. According to TMZ, the singer sues the label because they have put her into a musical "limbo" by refusing to let her out of her contract and keeping her new album from being released.

The legal document against Da Family Entertainment was filed in NYC courts. In addition to demanding to be released from her contract with the company, JoJo reportedly also seeks at least $500,000 as a compensation for the inconvenient situation.

Jojo articulately explains everything on her myspace blog here.
